Grandma DeBlois was so kind to give Kayla her first beauty table. She especially likes to dunk the flowers in the dogs bowl. Maybe she thinks they are thirsty and need a drink. :0)

The things that we do to get Kayla to eat. We find that if you sing to Kayla she is distracted and more likely to eat. We sometimes get a little carried away but it is always worth a laugh and smile. In this singing clip Mike was teaching Kayla a little Hank Williams JR... Just for you Ross!

Wake Up Sleepy Lou

This is Kayla's new trend when she wakes up. I find it funny that at night she likes to take her shirt half way off and her socks all the way off. She also likes to roll around with her blanket. She is super cute.

Play Time in November

Kayla is constantly on the go. She walks, crawls, rolls and plays all day. Kayla wants to explore everything and is starting to pitch a fit when she does not get her way.

Kayla has started to maneuver her walker around. It is her Sat AM workout. She sure is getting smart!

First Shadow Box

I created my first shadow box this weekend. The box contains a picture of Kayla at 6 months old, A sand cast of Kayla's foot and a poem for Daddy. Miss Lily's created the sand cast of Kayla's foot and the poem for Mike's first Fathers Day! I wanted to save the cast and thought this was the best way to do it. I had so much fun putting this together I am going to do one for Kayla's first sea shell.. More to come!

Couple of Cute Moments This Week

The Eagles played Monday night. We treated ourselves with wings. Kayla enjoyed eating a entire carrot. She especially liked dipping the carrot and her hand into the ranch dressing. It was fun to watch but not so fun to clean up.

Lets Go For a Walk

Walking walking walking..... Kayla is on the move. She is enjoying he new ability to walk and chase the dogs around. Special moments for me is when she takes my finger and walks around the house with me. She makes great strides every day in being more stable. She is growing up so fast these days. Soon enough she wont want to hold my hand when she walks around.
