Couple of changes to Kayla's play space. We turned the chair around for reading and created a bigger sitting space to play with Lego's. I also picked up a activity table but need to put it together.
As Kayla approaches her 2nd birthday she has grown and changed so much. Kayla is trying to put two words together which usually comes out as a combo of the two. She understand what you are asking her to do and does a good job of picking up. Kayla, still loves to be read too. She picks several books each night that I have to read to her Good Night Moon always being the last one before she goes to bed. It seems overnight she moved from a baby to a toddler. :0)
Ready for Summer here in San Antonio. We have already had about 4 days over 90. Kayla is ready with Sun Glasses and hair accessories!. I kind of went crazy. Of course she has 7 baiting suites so far.. COME ON we have 8 maybe 9 months of warm weather!
The hot tub has always been a fun place for Kayla to play with Daddy. As she grows she likes the water more and more. Kayla, can now stand up in the hot tub. She is growing up so fast. it is so much fun to watch her explore her world. :)
Kayla likes to try and dump her milk out of her sippy cup into a cup or bowl or whatever she has and then drink it out of the non sippy cup. This video does not display it well but it s a process for her... wonder where she gets that.... :)
I have been working on Kayla's new and improved play space. I am adding more space for play time and picked up a activity table at Ikea this weekend and orders some more flooring squares at one step ahead. We are going to have fun!
When Ms. Josie sent me this picture the first thing I thought was... Okay so Kayla is sitting and Sofi is pulling her. Kayla is not demanding or anything... nooooooo and if she was she would not get that from me.... noooooooo
And then I had a memory of me at my Grandma's house. I was playing outside with the chalk board and the other kids in the neighborhood and I had to be the teacher.. there was really no way around it. If you wanted to play I was the teacher.. I remember the kids saying Mrs. Andersen why does Sandi have to always be the teacher? and Gram always had my back. Because it is her yard! Thanks Gram!!!! :0)
